A #1 New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and #1 USA Today bestselling author, his books include The Motivation Manifesto, The Charge, The Millionaire Messenger, and Life’s Golden Ticket. Brendon is also the star and executive producer of the #1 self-help series on YouTube, and his podcast The Charged Life debuted at #1 on iTunes. After suffering depression and surviving a car accident at the age of 19, Brendon began asking himself important life questions: “Did I truly live today? Did I love? Did I matter?” His intention to be happy with the answers led to his own personal breakthrough as well as his life’s purpose of helping others live a “fully charged life.” By 32, he became a #1 bestselling author and an early pioneer in the online education space. Since then, he has dedicated his life to helping others find their charge, deepen their motivation and strength, and share their true voice with the world. Larry King named Brendon “one of the top motivation and marketing trainers in the world.” SUCCESS Magazine named him as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Leaders in Personal Growth and Achievement, along with Oprah, Deepak Chopra, Joel Osteen, Arianna Huffington, Dr. Oz, Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, and Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg. The program, taught by Brendon Burchard as an online course and live event, has graduated more authors, speakers, coaches, seminar leaders, and online trainers than any other marketing training in history. The Academy teaches thought leaders to position themselves credibly in the marketplace, package their advice into sellable content and products, promote their works and services online, and partner with others to grow their brands and following. It covers how to get started, create and organize content and curriculum, strategize marketing funnels, launch evergreen products, gain worldwide followership via social media, and more. Experts Academy is also the only comprehensive brand building marketing training taught by a thought leader who has built an 8-figure business and achieved a Top 100 global Facebook following. Brendon is the rare trainer who teaches what he actually does, which is why the program is so effective. He built his empire from scratch — without a marketing team (at least for the first decade of his career) — inclusive of building his webpages, writing his own books, structuring his content, sending his emails, and creating his sales funnels from beginning to end. He knows the strategies, tools, and processes of succeeding in the industry like none other. Experts Academy 2016 class will begin March 1st, 2016, with a discounted early bird registration period from January 27th – February 5th. The 5-week online course will also include a year-long coaching and mentorship program with Brendon. Registration details will be sent via email when the course opens.

B2B Ecommerce: Simplify The Process, Limit Friction, Don’t Reinvent The Wheel
Like B2C, companies should still try to simplify the checkout process.
https://www.b2becommerceworld.com/commentary/2015/11/02/unique-features-b2b-sites-must-offer-customers
http://www.monsoonconsulting.com/kite-flying/blog/the-business-of-b2b-ecommerce-requirements
https://magento.com/blog/best-practices/10-ways-boost-b2b-shopping-experience
It is amazing how difficult it can be to make purchases from certain B2B sites.
One of the issues however with displaying pricing is that your competitors can know your prices and your best sellers and then purposely undercut your prices.
While undercutting and price wars are generally a race to the bottom where only the customer wins and you shouldn’t engage in such activity, it is sometimes inevitable especially when going up against larger companies (e.g. Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress, China directly). Of course companies can differentiate themselves but even these days, most experienced buyers are quite comfortable ordering direct from China through their own brokers and personal and/or business connections.
One of the most successful B2B platforms e.g. Alibaba.com took things a step further and connects buyers not only with 1 company at a time but with thousands at a time. Instead of being limited to 1 supplier for a product type, you have the choice of choosing from a multitude. Ultimately this competitive marketplace benefits the consumer. Is there still a place for smaller companies in the B2B space? Of course! Smaller companies have the ability to pivot and adjust pricing according to their customers need at a much quicker pace than larger companies that have grown so large that they have a more difficult time dealing with all of the requests. As a smaller company you often have a small advantage in being able to see ‘what sells’ when looking at larger competitors and then narrowing down your product offerings on those products (80/20 principle where the majority of your income will come from a smaller percentage of product types).
Sitespeed is a big key to having a successful shopping experience. Most B2B sites struggle with this aspect as they are often still using websites made 10 years ago on HTML, java/flash.
Responsiveness is also crucial. Almost 90% of all B2B or manufacturing sites that I find in manufacturing directories are not mobile responsive. Just by revamping a website (no link building) with proper on-page SEO optimization, a manufacturers website can go from page 3 to page 1 in Google for many of the target local keywords.
Be sure to include a good search box. Amazon does a good job of this and even includes an autosuggest like you find in YouTube or Google. This is also very helpful for mobile users who may not wish to type the entire keyword.
Another problem with most B2B sites is that they often have very poor image quality where the images are too small, filesizes are too large, images are not edited, or nonexistant. Catalogues are nice but requires the site visitor to download them and by that time they may have already bounced over to Amazon to make their purchase instead. Which brings us to another point… Amazon is increasingly gaining market share with 1-2 day shipping, Prime membership, and even drones that deliver products. Amazon spent $157 million dollars on Google Adwords bidding on all broad keywords and driving up costs to push out smaller companies. http://www.digitalstrategyconsulting.com/intelligence/2014/10/biggest_spenders_on_google_adwords_amazon_tops_the_list_in_us.php This was in 2014. Amazon’s spend in 2016 will be much greater than this (perhaps around $16 million per month on Adwords ad spend not to mention retargeting ads, Facebook ads, Twitter ads, and more. Amazon understands the power of referral marketing through Amazon’s affiliate program. This is a genius move that increases their backlinks and reach. The word-of-mouth style recommendations by bloggers further helps to build trust – and people buy from those they know, like, and trust.
